The five steps below summarise how to register on the Council for Geoscience e-Procurement Portal, complete your supplier profile, and submit a bid.

Register

Visit https://www.geoscience.org.za/register/ to complete the supplier registration form. You will be required to provide your CSD MAAA number, your South African company registration or identification number, your banking details, your ownership information, and a copy of your BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit. Once submitted, the CGS Supply Chain Management team will review your application.

Log in

Once your registration has been approved, you will receive a confirmation email together with a link to set your password. After setting your password, log in at https://www.geoscience.org.za/sign-in/ using your registered email address.

Complete your profile

After logging in, navigate to My Account and confirm that your details are accurate. You may update your contact details, banking information, BBBEE status and address at any time. Please ensure your profile remains up to date so that your bid submissions are not delayed.

Find an RFQ

Open Requests for Quotation are listed at https://www.geoscience.org.za/cgs/work-with-us/tender/request-for-quotation/. Select any RFQ to view the brief, the closing date, and any supporting documents. Open Tenders are listed on the same Work With Us section of the website.

Submit a bid

Open the RFQ you wish to bid on and select Submit Bid. Upload the required documents (price schedule, SBD declarations, and any other supporting documents) and submit the bid. You will receive an on-screen confirmation followed by a confirmation email.
