The Council for Geoscience (CGS) confirms that the South African National Seismograph Network (SANSN), recorded the far east coast Russia seismic event at approximately 01:24:52 SAST on Wednesday morning, 30 July 2025. This event registered a magnitude of 8.8, respectively. The epicentre of this event was located in the far east coast of Russia.
